Chemistry Education During COVID:   How We Reacted to the Pandemic

Come hear directly from the insiders how the work of teaching and learning chemistry changed during COVID. Did the technology work?   Did students learn anything?  How do you teach labs online?  What changes might persist into a (hopefully!) post-COVID future?  We’ll have a panel discussion with four chemists with different roles to tell you what’s been going on.

Panel discussion with:
Eric Davenport, faculty at Shenendehowa High School
Laura MacManus-Spencer, faculty at Union College
Rabi Musah, faculty at University at Albany
Mindle Shavy Paneth, graduate of Union College ’20 and now studying in Germany as a Fulbright Scholar

moderated by William Kennerly, faculty member at Skidmore College
